Sports Authority

Mission-fulfillment initiative



Mission: BKFK developed the Sports Authority program as part of their mission to “be the backyard game authority.” Kids were challenged to come up with their own way to play and stay healthy by inventing new backyard games, training devices, and exercise equipment.

Audience:

Grades 3–6

Achievements: Outreach to 10,000+ elementary schools within a 10-mile radius of 430 Sports Authority stores; delivery of print and digital classroom and at-home activities; take-home activities that included a store coupon; more than 500 million media impressions in national, regional, and local markets.
